Secondhand shop

I took a lot of stuff to the secondhand shop today, as tomorrow is the first day of my table’s rent! While I was unloading my boxes, people were already grabbing stuff and hoovering about. I think I’ll make good money this time, too. Before Christmas I got almost $400 because I had many expensive items. This time I don’t really have such ‘big sells’ but I’m hoping for at least $200.

Doing this gives me something to do, lets me meet new people (they tend to be very talkative), I get money from doing something fun and best of all - buying and selling at secondhand shops is a great way to be environmentally friendly! I’ve found some really nice stuff. I once found this absolutely gorgeous vintage wooden travel chest!! I so regret not buying it.

I’m so glad to see my old books go. One man grabbed a big pile (10+ books)! I sell them only €0,10 per book because I just want people to buy them so I get rid of them. I’m not that interested in the profits. As long as I get more than the table’s rent I’m happy.
